
Day 8-Dirt Cake
Part 1
1 large package Oreo Cookies, ground fine
Part 2
1 stick margarine or butter
2 8-ounce cream cheese
¾ cup sugar
Part 3
2 2/3 cup milk
2 small packages instant French Vanilla Pudding
Part 4
12 ounces Cool Whip
Combine Part 2 and then add Part 3. Then combine mixture with a 12-ounce carton of Cool Whip. Layer ½ of the ground cookies in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Place pudding mixture on top of cookies. Place remaining ground cookies on top.

Day 9-Sausage Stars
2 cups (1 lb.) sausage
½ cup chopped green pepper
1 cup Original Ranch Salad Dressing
1 ½ cup grated Monterey Jack Cheese
1 ½ cup grated Cheddar Cheese
1 package won ton wrappers
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook green pepper with sausage until sausage is cooked. Blot sausage with paper towels and combine with cheeses and salad dressing. Lightly grease a muffin tin and press 1 wrapper in each cup. Spray with Pam. Bake 5 minutes until golden. Remove from tins, place on baking sheet. Fill with sausage mixture. Bake 5 minutes until bubbly. Makes 4-5 dozen

Day 10-Happy Birthday Buttercream Icing
1 cup Crisco shortening
1 cup butter (can use salted or unsalted)- softened
1/3 cup lukewarm water
1 tsp popcorn salt
1 tsp clear vanilla
1 tsp almond extract
1 tsp butter extract
2 lb. bag of powder sugar
Cream together the butter and Crisco until nice and fluffy. Measure out the lukewarm water in a standard measuring cup and dissolve the popcorn salt in this water. I then add the flavorings to the cup. Stir it up well with a spoon. Turn your mixer speed to the lowest possible setting and add in the powdered sugar slowly. Alternate back and forth with the water mixture. Keep the mixer on low until all liquid and powdered sugar are combined. Once combined then turn the mixer up a notch and mix well. Approximately 2-3 minutes.
